Deepfakes: Social Engineering and Advertising

Introduction In the past few months I’ve come across several video advertisements on Youtube that are obvious deepfakes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deepfake) . Seeing these, my curiosity was piqued, and I wanted to examine these videos closer.
